Kodansha, a prominent publisher of popular manga series Attack on Titan, Tokyo Revengers, and Fairy Tail in Japan, is launching its very own manga platform called K MANGA.
K MANGA aims to enhance accessibility for American fans of Japanese comics, offering a wide range of titles upon launch.
The newest chapters of Kodansha’s serialized weekly and monthly magazine titles, as well as original serialized manga, will be simultaneously available in the United States.

K MANGA will serve as Kodansha’s official platform for serializing manga
The platform will debut with a library of estimated 400 titles. This collection includes 70 ongoing manga series that span various genres, such as action, thriller, isekai, romance, and fantasy.
“The K MANGA team is committed to continually creating content within the platform,” said Project leader Yuta Hiraoka.
Users will have the opportunity to explore its catalog and read a restricted number of manga chapters for free.
Expect ongoing popular titles like Edens Zero, Blue Lock, Rent-A-Girlfriend, The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse, and Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro to be available on K MANGA before any other competing platform.
The platform will be directly managed by Kodansha’s editorial team, the same team that oversees the creation of new manga every day, producing multiple worldwide mega-hits.
Kodansha, headquartered in Tokyo, is one of the largest publishing companies in the country. Since 1909, they have provided a diverse array of content, including manga, novels, fashion magazines, news journals, and picture books for children, as well as TV anime, movies, series, and video games.
The company is recognized worldwide as the licensor of some of the most beloved manga titles including AKIRA and Ghost in the Shell. Kodansha’s manga sales in the United States tripled in 2022, breaking a company record.
