The popular Demon Slayer franchise has reached new levels of hype that famous celebrities are getting in on the action.

Filipino-American and popular Tiktok star Bella Poarch showed that she is one enthusiastic fan who dressed up as demon girl Nezuko Kamodo for Halloween in 2022.

“What’s your favorite anime?” she captioned her Instagram post, showcasing a collection of photos in costume. In these pictures, the social media personality sports the Demon Slayer main girl’s signature look, complete with her pink kimono ensemble, a long dark wig that ends in auburn tips, pink hair ribbon, white tabi socks, and a bamboo muzzle.

In true Bella Poarch fashion, she also shared a Tiktok post where she dances and wears the bamboo muzzle in her mouth the way Nezuko usually does in the series. This might be a callback to when she posted about her love for the character in 2021, saying that Nezuko is her “spirit animal.”

Bella’s fans have grown accustomed to her adorable dance moves, lip-syncing, and on-point facial reactions as her most popular content. Her Tiktok video where she lip-syncs to Mille B’s “M to the B” was one of the most popular videos on the platform this year, reaching nearly 60 million views and having close to 2 million comments.

Her popular content eventually paved the way for her signing with Warner Records in 2021, and releasing pop anthems like, “Build a B*tch,” “Dolls,” and “Living Hell.”

Bella has also collaborated with fellow Filipino-American personalities over the years, including famous cousin Bretman Rock and popular streamer Rachell “Valkyrae” Hofstetter, who have made appearances in her music videos. Well-known streamers Ludwig “Ludwig” Ahgren and Sykkuno also recently featured in her video for “Dolls.”

As her Nezuko cosplay was well-received with over 1.7 million likes on Instagram, only time will tell if Bella will consider putting together a shoot or dressing up as other popular anime characters.

Demon Slayer has become one of the most popular anime in the world. The Mugen Train movie, the franchise’s first animated film, became the highest-grossing Japanese movie of all time, earning over US$506 million worldwide.

With more seasons and movies set to be released in the future, the sky’s the limit for these talented cosplayers.
