Beloved anime classic, Bleach, is headed to Tencent’s mobile MOBA game Arena of Valor (AoV) next month as a part of a new official collaboration.
Bleach’s protagonists Kurosaki Ichigo, Kuchiki Byakuya, and Hitsugaya Toshiro will not only show up in the game, but the three will actually grace the arena as permanent skins for some of our favorite heroes.
This is pretty similar to another AoV collaboration with anime Sword Art Online where Kirigaya “Kirito” Kazuto took the form of the Warrior/Initiator Allain while his partner Yuuki Asuna appeared as the Assassin/Warrior Butterfly. Both AoV heroes are sword wielders which made them a perfect match for the Sword Art Online skins.
Bleach’s main man and half-human, half-Shinigami (also known as Soul Reaper or death god) Kurosaki Ichigo will take over the Warrior Lu Bu. Both are excellent melee characters, with the former wielding his iconic Zangetsu sword.

Meanwhile, the calm and collected swordsman and head of his clan Kuchiki Byakuya will appear in Arena of Valor as the Assassin/Warrior Murad and Byakuya actually have another thing common aside from their swords — their very fashionable scarves!
The Marksman/Warrior AoV hero Bright did us all a favor by effortlessly cosplaying as the anime’s child prodigy and 10th Squad captain Hitsugaya Toshiro. No need for wigs here!
Bright’s giant sword has been crafted too to seamlessly look like Toshiro’s powerful blade, Hyorinmaru.
Which of these three swordsmen will you pick up in AoV?
The Arena of Valor x Bleach collaboration will start on May 1. More details will be revealed on how to obtain these skins as the event nears its release date. You can watch the AoV x Bleach video teaser here.
