The Arena of Valor World Championship 2020 may have been canceled but do not despair because the newly announced Arena of Valor Premier League 2020 (APL 2020) has risen up to take its place.
Co-organized by Garena and Tencent, APL 2020 is set to take place from June 19 to July 26 and will be played entirely online in accordance with social distancing measures implemented in most countries in light of the current COVID-19 pandemic.
The tournament will see the participation of 14 top Arena of Valor teams from four regions: Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, and Chinese Taipei in the first-ever transcontinental online tournament.

A total of 14 teams will be participating in the tournament. They will be selected from the top professional tournaments in the region, including Glorious Arena (AOG – Vietnam), ROV Pro League (RPL – Thailand), AOV Star League (ASL – Indonesia) and Garena Challenger Series (GCS – Chinese Taipei).
The tournament will have a total prize pool of more than US$348,000 (VND 8.1 billion).
AOV fans can also participate in the festivities and show their support for their favorite teams by completing special in-game activities with a chance to win exclusive in-game gifts.
