Season 3 has brought a meta shakeup to Warzone 2, and it seems there’s a new best assault rifle to steal the thunder.
According to Call of Duty expert Metaphor’s recent video, this STB 556 loadout is the best assault rifle to use in Warzone 2 Season 3.

Metaphor claims the STB 556 may be the best AR in the game, and that it’s incredibly easy to use. To make it the best it can be, he pulls out the right attachments.
Kicking things off with the muzzle slot, he opts for the Komodo Heavy which helps to improve horizontal recoil control and allows you to better stay on target.
Next up is the 24.4″ Bruen S-620 barrel. This barrel adds damage range, increased bullet velocity, hip fire accuracy, and recoil control, making it exceptionally strong. It’s worth noting that this does come at the cost of speed and hip fire accuracy.
The optic of choice is the Cronen Mini Pro thanks to the precision sight picture it provides at the cost of a little aim-down-sight speed.
Metaphor rounds out the build with a 42-round mag filled with 5.56 high velocity ammunition.
