It is now more difficult than ever to get your full loadout in Warzone 2.0.
While you can still utilize your complete custom loadout in Al Mazrah, and the Gulag is not going anywhere, both systems have received a massive overhaul that changes how they work.
Here’s what you need to know about the new loadout system and how to get your full loadout.

You can no longer purchase your full loadout in Warzone 2
In Warzone, players could spend $10,000 at a Buy Station and acquire their complete loadout, kitted out with their preferred attachments, secondaries, lethal equipment, and perks.
It’s no longer as simple in Warzone 2.0. Only primary weapons from your loadouts can be bought from Shops (the new name for Buy Stations). They will cost you $5,000, which is fairly affordable relatively early on in the game.
The remainder has to be earned in one of two ways — a loadout drop public event, or clearing a Stronghold or Black Site.
These public loadout drops will drop into Al Mazrah in the middle of matches and can be used by any player. This could create new gameplay dynamics around these drops, as players battle for access to them.
Strongholds are AI-controlled areas that can net players rewards in the early game. The first team to complete a Stronghold must disarm a bomb to earn a key to a Black Site and their custom loadout.
Subsequent teams can reclear a Stronghold by eliminating a specific number of defenders, either AI or players, to earn their custom loadout. However, they will not receive a Black Site key.
Black Sites are a higher difficulty version of Strongholds, but they offer a permanent weapon blueprint reward and even more valuable rewards. The Black Site key is only given to the first team that clears an active Stronghold.
These changes could mean that players will be able to access their primary weapon quicker, but it will take longer to acquire the rest of their loadout. And without the Ghost perk on hand, players may have to rethink their strategies because they will now be detectable by UAVs.
