The top 3 Field Upgrades in Modern Warfare 2
There are a total of 15 Field Upgrades in Modern Warfare 2. While you can only bring one Field Upgrade onto the battlefield when you start out, you unlock a second slot at Rank 45.
Dubbed Field Upgrade Pro, this lets you choose which one you want to deploy. However, it comes at the cost of a slow recharge rate.
Trophy System
The Trophy System is an autonomous defense system that can destroy up to three incoming pieces of equipment or projectiles.
It is particularly valuable on objectives and in tight, interior spaces where explosive grenades, flashes, and stuns will be constantly lobbed at you. In modes like Hardpoint, Headquarters, and Domination, the Trophy System can be a literal lifesaver.
Dead Silence
Dead Silence silences your footsteps, allowing you to sprint around the map and get the drop on enemies without worrying about them hearing you coming. While Dead Silence usually takes the form of a perk in the Call of Duty franchise, it became a Field Upgrade in newer iterations like Modern Warfare, Vanguard, and now Modern Warfare 2.
If you get a kill while Dead Silence is in effect — with the exception of killstreak kills — the duration will refresh.

Simple, yet effective. The Munitions Box won’t protect you or help you secure kills, but it will replenish ammunition and tactical equipment for both you and your team.
