One Piece has a new waifu, and she’s quite the total performer.

First introduced in One Piece Film Red, Uta was a surprise announcement by creator Eiichiro Oda. This mysterious character is the daughter of Shanks and is dubbed as “the world’s greatest diva” in the franchise.

With the movie’s recent million-dollar premiere, One Piece fans have been stoked to see the character in the television series, and even in real life with trending Uta cosplays.

Chinese cosplayer SeeU has also jumped in on the One Piece movie hype, with her latest work featuring the film’s diva.

Uta cosplayer’s stunning performance from One Piece Film Red will make you squeal with delight

SeeU posted a selfie of her Uta cosplay, where she is clad in the character’s white dress and oversized jacket. She also put on a chunky yellow headset to complete the look.

We’re absolutely impressed with the way she styled Uta’s two-tone wig, seamlessly creating two giant loops at the back of her hair.

To fully immerse herself in portraying Uta, SeeU also posted a short video of her lip-syncing and moving to the movie’s theme song, “New Genesis” by Japanese singer Ado.

In the teaser photos, Uta wants One Piece protagonist Monkey D. Luffy to quit being a pirate, which ultimately means she wants him to break his promise to Shanks to become the Pirate King. Uta and Luffy are childhood friends, as seen in the movie’s trailer.

Uta’s voice actress is Kaori Nazuka, known for her roles as Nunnally Lamperouge in Code Geass, Eureka in Eureka Seven, and Chelsea in Akame Ga Kill.

Catch Uta in One Piece Film Red, now showing in Japanese theaters nationwide.
