Filipino fans might be getting a special esports jersey from G2 Esports soon.
G2 Esports’ founder and player-turned-team owner Carlos ‘ocelote’ Rodriguez expressed his interest to the Filipino community through a tweet about the likelihood of his esports organization producing a jersey with colors based on the Philippine flag.
This might be ocelote’s way of welcoming half-Danish half-Filipino player Kristoffer “P1noy” Pedersen. P1noy entered the League of Legends European Championship (LEC) Summer Split Week 4 as a substitute AD carry for Luka “Perkz” Perković.
P1noy is known as the Doublelift slayer, destroying Yiliang “Doublelift” Peng using his signature champion Graves during his time with Gambit Esports back in 2015.

As an esports organization based in Europe, G2 Esports has made jerseys for France, Germany, Spain, and even a limited edition USA version as a support to its professional players.
There’s also a special Spring Playoffs jersey featuring the logo of vehicle company BMW as a commemoration of G2’s partnership with the brand.
