Popular game streamers, Jaryd “Summit1G” Lazar, Brett “Dakotaz” Hoffman, and Josh “JoshOG” Beaver have re-signed and expanded their exclusive deals with Twitch.
While the financial terms have not been disclosed to the public, they have been revealed to be “multi-year content deals,” said Brandon Freytag of Loaded — the management company which represents the three — who was interviewed by The Washington Post.
Often listed as one of the Top 10 on the platform, Summit1G has more than 5 million followers. Recently, he averaged nearly 200K simultaneous viewers during the launch of the Valorant closed beta.
Dakotaz, on the other hand, has accumulated 4.3 million followers to date. His channel was one of the 10 most-watched in 2018, and he was voted the best Fortnite streamer in a poll by Red Bull.

Finally, known for his positive community which refers to themselves as “Ducks”, JoshOG is a renowned Call of Duty: Warzone player. Since starting on Twitch in 2014, he has amassed 1.73 million followers.
Together, they bring in over 11 million Twitch followers and can be expected to produce more content for their respective channels. They will also likely be participating in various Twitch events and activations for the rest of the year.
The streamer-exclusivity deal trend started when Tyler “Ninja” Blevins shocked the community by signing one such deal with Mixer last year. A few months after that, Mike “Shroud” Grzesiek followed suit by making his own move to Mixer, which took his audience by surprise. This has led to more popular streamers signing long-term contracts with different platforms for their exclusive content.
