Premier esports team Team SoloMid (TSM) gave their fans a quick tour of their soon-to-open headquarters in California. The US$50 million project is slated to be the world’s most expensive gaming headquarters to date.
Located in the middle of LA’s Playa Vista neighborhood, the 25,000-square-foot facility will be the largest esports crib in the western hemisphere when it opens.
The building will feature more than 15 different areas that include training and wellness amenities for players, workspaces for TSM employees, streaming pods and content creation areas, and dedicated areas for fans and other guests.
The first floor will be allocated to the organization’s office workers, with various amenities like meeting rooms and even a closed theater that’s planned to be used for fan watch parties when TSM games are on.
The sleek working area will be decked in a black paint scheme with tons of LED lighting and glass walls. LED displays will line the walls, shown in the mock-up below flashing photos of TSM’s familiar faces:
The building’s cafeteria extends to an al fresco dining area that TSM will use to host watch parties, LAN parties, and all sorts of other events that will be open to TSM’s fans and friends.

The upstairs area will be dedicated to TSM’s esports players and staff. There will be scrim rooms, coaching rooms, and streaming rooms. Players wil also have a dedicated cafe and lounge where players can take it easy after a long day’s worth of training or competing.
The facility will also go down in history as the first holistic wellness center in esports. In addition to honing their players’ in-game skills, TSM will also keep their stars’ bodies and minds in peak condition with a fully equipped gym area and other wellness amenities.
TSM star mid-laner Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg specifically requested to include a room with a sensory deprivation tank to help players meditate and clear their minds from the inevitable stress of competitive gaming.
There will also be nap pods where players can recharge.
The TSM facility was originally set to fully launch this spring, but its official unveiling is likely to be delayed because of the California lockdown resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic.
