Coincidentally, they all hail from our list of top seven anime, where plot, storytelling, and of course, characters were all tightly intertwined to give us the best viewing experience.

Yor Forger — Spy x Family
Excuse me? Sorry. Mommy? Sorry. Mommy? Sorry.
Yor Forger has got to be one of the hottest moms we have ever seen in anime history. This gentle yet deadly housewife took the anime and cosplay world by storm in Spy x Family.
Yor is one of the protagonists in the series alongside her pretend-husband, Loid Forger, and foster daughter, Anya Forger. She lives a double life as a clerk at the Berlint City Hall during the day, and an assassin codenamed “Thorn Princess” at night.
She is known for her lack of social skills and often thinks about murder as a plausible solution to multiple situations. Find out more about Yor Forger here.
We absolutely adore her as a loving and protective mother, who can kick some serious ass whenever her loved ones are in trouble. There’s something so sexy about Yor’s concern for Loid and Anya, which is somehow way hotter than her guise as an assassin in a seductive black dress.
Power — Chainsaw Man
Power from Chainsaw Man is an aggressive, unpredictable mess, and we love her for that.
Power enters the story as another devil-type member of Makima’s experimental squad. As a blood fiend, she can create weapons out of her own blood, but in exchange, she has an insatiable thirst for it. It’d be best to stay away from her when you get a paper cut.
While Power has done some questionable things throughout the series, she’s shown how loyal and courageous she can be when needed. Despite having no reason to stay in Public Safety after the Bat Devil incident, she decides to keep Denji company and protect him from other devil-hybrids.
Chisato Nishikigi — Lycoris Recoil
Lycoris Recoil’s top gun, Chisato, deserves a spot in this list of the best anime waifu of 2022. Since the anime aired in summer, the blonde protagonist has captured the hearts of many weebs.
With her carefree attitude and happy vibe, Chisato showed the beauty of living life to the fullest regardless of people’s expectations. We also admire her stubbornness, firmly upholding her beliefs even in the face of death.
To top it all off, Chisato is a natural sharpshooter, and all her action scenes in the series are simply enjoyable to watch.
Marin Kitagawa — My Dress-Up Darling
A gyaru go-getter isn’t an uncommon anime trope by any means. Marin Kitagawa’s first impression is firmly that — but her first klutzy moment firmly crushes every expectation you had of a character like her.
She’s cute, attractive, and pretty, but it’s her personality that gives her the worthy title of Darling. In her pursuit of a niche hobby like cosplaying, she’s persevered despite her poor skills in sewing costumes.
Every interaction we see of her with Wakana Gojo shows how much of a sweetheart she is, especially in her admiration of Wakana’s skill — turning into heart-warming love that makes us squeal every moment.
She’s also an inspiration for those of us who’ve spent so much time on anime, even those bordering on illegal — we can still be socially adept, outgoing, and popular!
Makima — Chainsaw Man
We get you, Denji. It is incredibly challenging to have such a waifu as a supervisor.
Chainsaw Man’s Makima is an anime goddess, and for good reason. The high-ranking Public Safety officer puts in the work to save the world. Right from the first episode, she takes main protagonist Denji under her wing and orders him to eliminate their sworn enemy, the Gun Devil.
While she’s usually seen as an observant and cold boss, she shows a more charming attitude whenever she’s around the Chainsaw Man.
Knowing that Denji’s a brash teenager, she easily gets her way by giving him food and whispering sweet nothings into his ear. Who wouldn’t love a deal like that?
