Rostermania for the Call of Duty League is in full effect with the latest move being the Florida Mutineers benching of rookie Javi “Vikul” Milagro. The CDL organization revealed today that the 19-year-old hailing from Spain would be moved to the substitute role for the team after making his first professional appearance in the league this season.
The Mutineers didn’t have the strongest showing last week at the Stage Two Major in Boston where they finished 9th-12th after a 0-3 loss to the eventual runner-ups, Los Angeles Thieves. This clearly led to the Florida Mutineers feeling a change was needed as they prepare for the Major Three online qualifiers.
The Mutineers already parted ways with Michael “MajorManiak” Szymaniak last night, and it seems they weren’t done there with the latest announcement.

Florida Mutineers are only the first team to overhaul its roster
The Mutineers already parted ways with Michael “MajorManiak” Szymaniak, and it seems they weren’t done there with the latest announcement.
It’s also worth noting that Florida had recently made another change with the swap of Carson “Brack” Newberry for David “Davpadie” Maslowski prior to the trip to Boston which is further proof that the team is still trying to find its identity.
The Mutineers only have until February 18th to get things sorted or else they’ll still be figuring things out while competing in the online qualifiers for Major Three where they kick things off against Boston Major champions, Atlanta FaZe. The online qualifiers are set to begin a day earlier on February 17th.
This leaves the Florida Mutineers roster as such:
- David “Davpadie” Maslowski
- Colt “Havok” McLendon
- Carson “Brack” Newberry (substitute)
- Javi “Vikul” Milagro (substitute)
