496 Gaming has won the Vietnam Open Qualifiers for the ONE Esports Jakarta Invitational.
In the grand finals, 496 faced off against Team Impunity in a best of 3 match for a spot at the Kuala Lumpur Regional Qualifiers.

496 dominated from the start, with Trương “Killua” Quốc Nghĩa’s Troll Warlord and Trịnh “458” Văn Thọ’s Leshrac proving too much for Impunity. Killua finished the game with a perfect 7/0/10 KDA, while 458 went 10/4/10.
After just over 30 minutes, 496 finished the game with a 29-7 kill score.
In game two, Impunity picked up Troll Warlord for themselves, but it wasn’t enough to stop 496’s incredible duo. This time, Killua picked up Razor to counter Impunity’s Troll Warlord, finishing the game with an outstanding 16/1/16 KDA, while 458 went 8/4/23 on Zeus.
496 finished the game at the 35-minute mark, with a 37-19 kill score.
496 has now qualified for the Kuala Lumpur Regional Qualifiers, which will take place on March 7-8 at the Sunway Pyramid in Kuala Lumpur.
The winner of the Regional Qualifier will earn a spot at the ONE Esports Jakarta Invitational taking place at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition on 18-19 April.
The Invitational will see 12 of the best teams from around the world compete for a prize pool of US$500,000.
