The group stage of ESL One Malaysia 2022 begins in earnest on August 23.

Over three days of intense competition, 12 teams split into two groups of six will determine who’s going where in the playoffs — and those going home.

After playing a single round-robin best-of-two, the top two teams in each group will head to the upper bracket, while the third and fourth-place teams are placed in the lower bracket. The last two teams, however, will be eliminated from the competition entirely.
