After a stellar performance at the Kyiv Minor where they placed fourth, Indonesia’s BOOM Esports will be competing this weekend at the ONE Esports Dota 2 Jakarta Invitational Indonesia Regional Qualifier.
“We’ve only been scrimming with T1 so we’re excited to face the other two teams,” said team captain, Alfi “Khezcute” Nelphyana. “But I’m also looking forward to playing against T1 because inYourdreaM is on the team and it’s always fun to play against a former teammate,” continued Khezcute. Muhammad “inYourdreaM” Rizky played with BOOM from July to November last year.
“We haven’t been doing any special preparations for the tournament. Honestly, we just played the Kyiv Minor. We think that’s enough preparation,” said Khezcute. “After the Minor we’re feeling very confident. We feel like we’ve got a good understanding of this patch.”

The winner of the Indonesia Regional Qualifier will earn the final spot at the ONE Esports Dota 2 Jakarta Invitational, taking place at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition on April 18-19.
“I’m looking forward to playing against OG and Secret if we make it through to the Invitational. They play very high skill level Dota and we want to test our skills and see how we compare,” said Khezcute.
