TNC Predator’s Kim “Gabbi” Villafuerte and Evil Geniuses’ (EG) Artour “Arteezy” Babaev have become the newest members of Dota 2’s quickly-growing 11,000 matchmaking rating (MMR) club.

Both Gabbi and Arteezy made their achievements known within hours of each other through posts on their personal Twitter accounts.

Gabbi is now the third Filipino member of the 11K MMR club, joining club founder and EG midlaner Abed Azel “Abed” Yusop and Zerothreetwo midlaner Karl “Karl” Jayme.

Meanwhile, Arteezy is the first player from North America to become a member of the illustrious club. He will notably joining two of his EG teammates there, namely Abed and Andreas “Cr1t-” Nielsen.

With four out of eight players in the 11K MMR club; namely Abed, Nuengnara “23savage” Teeramahanon, Karl, and now Gabbi, Southeast Asia remains the most represented region in the highest tier of Dota 2 pubstars.

The CIS region has two representatives in the club in Danil “gpk” Skutin and Egor “epileptick1d” Grigorenko, while Europe and North America each have one in Cr1t and Arteezy.

With the restart of the Dota Pro Circuit early next year still far away, the 11K MMR club has quickly expanded as more and more pro players are spending less time playing in official matches or in scrimmages, and more time climbing the MMR ladder in pubs.

With that said, t may be a while since we see any new players join the 11K MMR club. Valve recently implemented an optional MMR reset functionality to the game for the new ranked season, among a list of other changes.
