Team Secret is going international for their newest Dota 2 roster.
Armel “Armel” Tabios and Daniyal “yamich” Lazebnyy are the latest addition to the Western European team, Team Secret announced Saturday.
The two new additions follow in the wake of offlane duo’s Roman “Resolut1on” Fomynok and Baqyt “Zayac” Emiljanov’s departure from the team, who helped Secret achieve a second place at The International 11.
Armel, known as one of the best midlaners in SEA, was a key cog in the success of regional titans like TNC Predator and Fnatic.
Yamich, best known for his term on Virtus Pro, recently concluded stints with Thiuth Gaming in North America and Akbar “SoNNeikO” Butaev’s stack Darkside in Eastern Europe.

- Remco “Crystallis” Arets
- Armel “Armel” Tabios
- Miroslav “BOOM” Bičan

- Clement “Puppey” Ivanov
Armel and yamich join Team Secret in what might be one of the organization’s toughest periods in a storied history.
The Western European team was relegated in Tour 1, finishing last with a 1-6 record.
Last year, the team failed to qualify for any Majors, and only found redemption during an unexpected run to the grand finals at TI11.
Team Secret will start Tour 2 in Division II, which means they will not be participating in the Berlin Major. Should the team manage to instantly promote to Division I in Tour 3, there’s a chance they can finally qualify for a Major for the first time in two years.
