TSM FTX is parting ways with Kim “DuBu” Doo-young, after a promising Dota Pro Circuit season that ended in disappointment.
The position five player, who played under the TSM banner for nearly a year, will no longer be part of its Dota 2 roster, according to the North American organization’s tweet this morning.
TSM’s promising start to the season saw them earn a runners-up placement at the ESL One Stockholm Major. However, the team was unable to replicate that form later in the year, becoming one of the four teams eliminated in the group stage of TI11.

After Soniqs let go of their full Dota 2 roster yesterday, it seems that TSM is still persisting in the NA Dota scene — though with a new hard support player.
The TSM roster with Dubu has been playing together since January 2021, then known as Team Undying. After a surprise run through The International 10 group stage that saw them almost sneak into the upper bracket, but ultimately falling in a best-of-one, TSM picked up the Undying roster.
NA seems to be suffering from a lack of a talent pipeline, especially when compared to neighboring South America — a region that has gone from strength to strength with new blood like Thunder Awaken.
