Michał “Nisha” Jankowski will no longer be part of Team Secret after four successful years with the European organization.
Nisha’s unexpected departure will come as a shock to fans. Secret, despite having a tough season for their lofty standards, still finished second at The International 11.
“We’ve played many years together, shared many laughs, travelled the world and won a bunch of tournaments,” Clement “Puppey” Ivanov wrote in the statement. “I cherish our time together and completely understand his decision to move on and see more of the world.”
Nisha has been with Secret since September 2018, in the aftermath of TI8. He’s since racked up more than 752 pro games with the European organization — good for third-most behind the team’s stalwarts Puppey and Yazied “YapzOr” Jaradat — and trophies as far as the eye can see.
With Nisha, Secret has won two Majors, and finished top four at The International for three straight events. The team also dominated competition in the online era throughout 2020, racking up eight tournament wins.

Team Secret roster for Dota Pro Circuit 2023

Despite a relatively disappointing 2022 season where Secret failed to qualify for any Majors, the team really found their groove heading into the TI11 Last Chance Qualifiers. Secret ended up finishing a distant second to a dominant Tundra Esports, thanks to numerous roster changes compared to their all-star lineup at the start of the year.
Still, with many calling Nisha the best player in the world, whoever is stepping in as position two will have big shoes to fill.
Meanwhile, Nisha is likely joining another team. With Topias “Topson” Taavitsainen also on the market as a free agent, two of Europe’s most in-demand midlaners will likely find new homes for the upcoming season — though many have no idea where.
