Secret, having already secured their Upper Bracket spot, had nothing to play for in this series but decided to stomp the already eliminated Chaos in the first game anyway. The European squad built a big lead by the 20-minute mark, being 11,000 gold ahead and a 24-15 kill score in their favor.
The hot start took a different turn as the series wore on, however.
For the last game of their Group Stage series, Secret decided to clown around with a Techies pick for team captain Clement “Puppey” Ivanov, and predictably lost the match at the 29-minute mark, giving Chaos their second tie.
While the game was a stomp for Chaos, it did make for some entertaining moments.
