As the winners of the ONE Esports Dota 2 Jakarta Invitational Singapore Online Qualifier, Tyrants Uprising will be competing this weekend at the Indonesia Regional Qualifiers.
ONE Esports caught up with team captain, Anthony “Iagger” Koh, to see how they’re preparing for the tournament.
“We’re preparing as hard as we can. We’ve been doing a lot of scrimming, replay analysis, and strategy meetups. You name it, we’ve done it,” said Iagger. “Even though we’re not as well-known as some of the other teams, we’re a really tight group of friends in real life, and I think that gives us an advantage over teams that only connect with each other online.”
“We’re looking forward to playing against BOOM Esports. They’re a consistent contestant in the DPC and they just had a great run at the Kyiv Minor,” said Iagger .

The winner of the Indonesia Regional Qualifier will earn the final spot at the ONE Esports Dota 2 Jakarta Invitational.
“If we make it through to the Jakarta Invitational we want to play against OG. I mean, who wouldn’t want to take on the two-time reigning TI champions right?” said Iagger.
