Singapore Dota 2 team, Tyrants Uprising, has won the Singapore Open Qualifiers for the ONE Esports Jakarta Invitational.
In the grand finals, TU faced off against Cerberus Gaming in a best of 3 match for a spot at the Jakarta Regional Qualifiers.
Tyrants Uprising dominated throughout, steamrolling both games from the start.
How Tyrants Uprising came out on top at the ONE Esports Dota 2 Jakarta Invitational Singapore Open Qualifiers
Game one ended in just under 15 minutes with a kill count of 24-7 in TU’s favor. Song “Sylevan” Yong Le was a standout, carrying his team with an outstanding 6-0-9 KDA on Mars.
Game two was even more one-sided, with TU winning 29-7 in just under 12 minutes. Sylevan was again the MVP, this time posting an even more impressive 12-1-4 KDA on Batrider.
Tyrants Uprising has now qualified for the Jakarta Regional Qualifiers, which will take place on March 14-15 at Mall Taman Anggrek in Jakarta.
The winner of the Regional Qualifier will earn a spot at the ONE Esports Jakarta Invitational taking place at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition on 18-19 April.
The Invitational will see 12 of the best teams from around the world compete for a prize pool of US$500,000.
