Vikin.gg has announced that it is releasing its entire Dota 2 roster.
The statement came after the team was unable to secure a spot for The International. At the recently completed TI10: Western Europe Qualifier, Vikin.gg lost 2-1 against OG in the upper bracket and then exited the tournament after losing to Chicken Fighters 2-0 in the lower bracket.
The tournament was ultimately won by OG.
- Should The International add more teams?
- This is why Puppey is the only player to attend every International
The team’s coach, Daniel “ImmortalFaith” Moza, confirmed that the roster will not be staying together, making all players free agents. It’ll be interesting to see which org tries to recruit them.
- Indji “Shad” Lub
- Miroslav “BOOM” Bičan
- Maurice “KheZu” Gutmann
- Adam “Aramis” Moroz
- Melchior “Seleri” Hillenkamp
With The International delayed till October, we can expect the next Dota Pro Circuit season to start in December or early next year. This hopefully gives the players enough time to prepare for the next season.
