Fortnite: Battle Royale developer Epic Games has revealed through a teaser that Fortnite Season 8 will be released on February 28 and will have a pirate theme.
The teaser was posted on the Fortnite Twitter account and included a short poem as well as an image of a pirate hook, which all clearly points to Season 8 having a pirate theme.

Each new season gives a different theme to Fortnite, which brings with it new skins and weapons, as well as changes to the map. Season 7 had a snow theme, mostly because it was released last December. It would be interesting to see what changes Season 8 will bring, especially given the sudden appearance of fissures caused by earthquakes on the map as of late.
Each new season will have a new Battle Pass as well. But for Season 8, Epic will be giving them away for free to players who complete Overtime Challenges before February 27. Check here for more details.
Stay tuned for updates on Fortnite Season 8 when it comes out.
