With October coming to a close, Fortnite’s spooktacular mode Fortnitemares returns to the game on October 29. The news came through a tweet from a data miner named HYPEX.
Fortnitemares is a mix of Fortnite’s Battle Royale and Save The World mode. You and your squad have to fight your way against other squads and various hordes of zombies to get a victory royale.
Just like previous Halloween events, Epic will possibly release brand new skins and revamps of classic skins like the Skull Trooper set. Aside from the Halloween-themed skins, the exclusive Fiend Hunter Crossbow is bound to make a comeback as the mode’s go-to weapon. With unlimited ammo and significantly less sound when firing, the crossbow will make hunting Cube monsters in Fortnitemares a piece of cake.
After the recent reset that Epic Games did with Chapter 2, the Halloween mode will be a nostalgic look back into the pastimes of the quirky battle royale. Seeing that Epic always has a trick up its sleeve, this year’s Fortnitemares might have a huge twist for old and new fans.
