The highly-anticipated Fortnite World Cup Finals are almost upon us. This weekend, from July 26-28, the best Fortnite: Battle Royale players in the world will descend on New York City to duke it out across Solo and Duo competition for a share of the whopping US$30 million prize pool.
Here’s how you can watch the finals, who to look out for, what’s at stake, and everything else you need to know about the Fortnite World Cup Finals.
Schedule
The doors to the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center’s Arthur Ashe Stadium will open to fans in attendance in New York City on July 26 at 9:30 p.m. GMT+8 (9:30 a.m. EDT) for all three days of the finals. The daily Fortnite Fan Festival will also kick-off at the same time.
Day one of the Fortnite World Cup Finals will be for the Fortnite World Cup Creative Finals and the Fortnite World Cup Celebrity Pro-Am. The Creative Finals will kick off on July 26 at 1 a.m. GMT+8 (July 27 at 1 p.m. EDT), followed by the Celebrity Pro-Am at 4 a.m. GMT+8 (July 27 at 4 p.m. EDT).
Day two will be for the Duos Finals, with the games starting on July 28 at 1 a.m. GMT+8 (July 27 at 1 p.m. EDT). The winners ceremony is scheduled for 4:45 a.m. GMT+8 (July 27 at 4:45 p.m. EDT).
The final day of the event will be for the Solo Finals, kicking off on July 29 at 1 a.m. GMT+8 (July 28 at 1 p.m. EDT). The winners ceremony will be at 4:45 a.m. GMT+8 (July 28 at 4:45 p.m. EDT) and the Fortnite World Cup Finals is set to end by 6 a.m. GMT+8 (July 28 at 6 p.m. EDT).

How to Watch
The Fortnite World Cup Finals will be broadcast live on the official Fortnite Twitch and Youtube channels, as well as on Twitter, and Facebook.
You can also play Fortnite and watch the World Cup Finals at the same time with a picture-in-picture in game mode. Just login and look for the Watch Live button.
The show begins every day of the Finals at 12:30 a.m. GMT+8 (12:30 p.m. EDT), with all matches starting at 1 a.m. GMT+8 (1 p.m. EDT).

A total of 100 players will be competing in the Solo Finals, while 50 duos will face off in the Duos Finals.

Prize pool breakdown
A total of US$30 million prize money is up for grabs in the Fortnite World Cup Finals, split between the Solos and Duos Finals. In addition, the Fortnite Creative World Cup Finals and the Fortnite Celebrity Pro-Am both have US$3 million prize pools.

Fortnite World Cup Creative Finals
The Fortnite World Cup Creative is a separate competition for the game’s “Creative” mode, where players use their creativity, imagination, and Fortnite’s build mechanic to create a variety of game modes.
Eight teams of four players from all over the world qualified for the event by mastering their respective Creative Trials which ran from April 29 to June 7.

Fortnite World Cup Finals Celebrity Pro-Am
The Fortnite World Cup Finals will kick off with a Celebrity Pro-Am tournament, featuring 50 duos of pro players and celebrities from all around the world.
Look out for Fortnite stars like Benjamin “DrLupo” Lupo and Turner “Tfue” Tenney, as well as the celebrities like WWE wrestler Xavier Woods and NBA star Aaron Gordon.
The Pro-Am will also see the return of two champion squads: 2018 Pro-Am winners Tyler “Ninja” Blevins and his teammate DJ Marshmello, and 2019 Pro-AM winners Karim “Airwaks” Benghalia and music producer RL Grime.

Fortnite Fan Festival
For fans in attendance at the event itself in New York, there will be a daily Fortnite Fan Festival beginning at 9:30 a.m. ET.
The festival is a mini theme park that features attractions ranging from a Glider zipline to a full course of mini golf inspired by in-game locations, as well as a Fortnite-themed You’ve Got Game Show.
There will also be 30 Fortnite characters, like Peely, Brite Bomber, and Beef Boss, among others, present at the event to do your favorite Fortnite dances with.
