While Vinny1x did not have any Victory Royales in the seven-game competition, he constantly finished at the top of the standings for each round. He ultimately tallied 319 points to win it all, narrowly beating out Max “Magin” Merrien of Team Atlantis who had 316 points.
Vinny1x will be taking home the grand prize of US$20,000, while Magin will be getting US$16,000. Second runner-up Huynh “Kinstaar” Duong Huynh of Solary, who finished with 269 points, will settle for US$12,000.
Vinny1x will also get the chance to add to his winnings in the Duos Competition, which will run from March 2 to 3 and have a US$400,000 prize pool. He will be partnered with Anthony “ZexRow” Colandro in TSM’s second duo in the tournament.
TSM signed Vinny1x to its roster on February 28, just before the international edition of ESL Katowice Royale kicked off.
Vinny1x got his break after placing third in the Duos Competition of TwitchCon 2018 with ZexRow, after which he competed in the Winter Royale and the Secret Skirmish, where he secured 14th and 12th place, respectively.
