In preparation for one of the biggest esports events of the year, Garena has released the Free Fire World Series Special Orchestra theme song — a captivating tune dedicated to all fans of the popular battle royale game.

The Free Fire World Series 2021 offline tournament is just around the corner, and to hype things up Garena posted a full, five-minute performance of the Free Fire Theme presented by the Tokyo Studio Symphony over at Kanagawa, Japan.
The orchestrator, Nobuko Toda, has worked on a few triple-A games like Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots, Halo 5: Guardians, Final Fantasy XIV, Ghost in the Shell SAC_2045, and Ultraman.
The Free Fire theme was originally composed by Ludvig Forssell, the guy behind themes from Death Stranding, Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, P.T., and many more.
As a former audio director and in-house composer for Kojima Productions, Forssell knows very well how to translate the game into music. Listen to the Free Fire World Series Special Orchestra theme song:

Several well-known titles such as League of Legends and Dota 2 take their music game very seriously, especially during their major tournaments.
The League of Legends‘ World Championship (Worlds) and Dota 2’s The International (TI) are the two biggest esports tournaments recognized around the world. Both tournaments had their main themes played by an orchestra. The elegant classical music really brings out the grandeur of these tournaments.
The Free Fire World Series 2021
The 2021 Free Fire World Series (FFWS) will soon be happening in Singapore this month. It will bring together the best Free Fire teams from around the world.
A total of 18 teams from 11 regions will compete to become the best and win the lion’s share of the US$2 million prize pool, Free Fire World Series’ largest prize pool ever.
