ONE Esports and Toyota Motor Asia Pacific are ready to deliver the next big esports racing experience, once again bringing together Asia’s top Gran Turismo Sport racers for the TOYOTA GAZOO Racing (TGR) GT Cup ASIA 2021, taking place on October 16, 2021.
What is the TGR GT Cup Asia 2021?
TGR GT Cup Asia 2021 is an online competition that features the fastest, most skilled e-Motorsport racers across Asia as they pit their driving skills against each other.
The competition will feature 21 racers from seven different teams, all vying for over US$10,000 in prize money and two spots at the highly anticipated TGR GT Cup 2021.

Local qualifiers are complete, and we now know the top three qualifiers from each team that will compete at the TGR GT Cup Asia 2021.

What is the format of the TGR GT Cup Asia 2021?
TGR GT Cup Asia 2021 will feature four races, each with a different track and exciting Toyota road cars and dedicated racing cars to go along with it.
The four tracks are Tokyo Expressway – East Outer Loop, Fuji International Speedway, Circuit de Spa-Francochamps, and Circuit de la Sarthe.
Semi Final Race – Groups A and B
The top three qualifiers from each local team will compete in two groups, racing in the newly introduced GR Yaris on the Tokyo Expressway racing circuit.
The top five racers in each group will proceed straight into the Final Race. The remaining 11 racers will then compete in the Consolation Race for a place in the Final Race.
Consolation Race
The remaining 6 racers from Group A and 5 racers from Group B in the Semi-Finals Race will compete on the renowned Fuji Speedway circuit in the GR Supra 20, in their last attempt to qualify for the Final Race.
The top 5 racers will get a spot in the Final Race.
Final Race – Round 1
This first round will take place on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium. The 15 racers will put their skills to the test in the recently premiered GR 86, specially tuned for sports racing.
Final Race – Round 2
The second round will be on the iconic Le Mans circuit in France, with racers racing in the electric powertrain Toyota TS 050 Hybrid that has undergone massive improvements to deliver maximum power.

- Race — 8.00 p.m. (GMT+8)

Individual Rankings
The top three racers will walk away with these prizes based on their cumulative points earned at each race.
- 1st Prize — US$6,000 (+ 1 seat in the TGR GT CUP 2021 Global Finals)
- 2nd Prize — US$3,000 (+ 1 seat in the TGR GT CUP 2021 Global Finals)
- 3rd Prize — US$1,500
Team Rankings
Prizes are awarded based on the total points earned by the three individuals representing their local team and will be shared equally amongst them.
