Published and developed by Portkey Games, Harry Potter Magic Awakened is a free mobile game that fuses collectible card gameplay with MMORPG features.
Players will take on the role of a first-year student at Hogwarts, joining other aspiring wizards and witches on a journey to master their magic. They’ll also be able to customize their own character and wear the iconic Sorting Hat to be sorted into their House.
Portkey Games confirmed that the game is anchored in Wizarding World lore, and features familiar faces from the Harry Potter series like Hagrid and Professor McGonagall.

Gameplay of Harry Potter Magic Awakened
Harry Potter Magic Awakened captures the different facets of everyday student life at Hogwarts.
As students get accustomed to their new home for the year, they have the opportunity to learn new charms, brush up on their knowledge of the history of magic, and practice their defense against the Dark Arts.
Looking for a quick getaway? You can roam around the halls of Hogwarts and even fly over the school on your broom. If you happen to know your way up in the air, you can flaunt your skills in a few Quidditch matches.
The game’s collectible card mechanic is key to your magic combat. With over 80 spell cards to collect and level up, you can build your own personal deck for battling creatures and dueling your own classmates. Familiar charms like Expelliarmus and summons like a Unicorn will be available for your deck.
Release date of Harry Potter Magic Awakened
While the title has already been released for China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau, Harry Potter Magic Awakened is set for a global launch sometime this year. The game will be free-to-play on mobile devices.
