After their lackluster performance during phase one of the tournament, fans doubted how far Revenant could go in the elimination matches. They had the longest and most delicate path to qualifications, alongside Gods Reign as the fourth and fifth seeded teams.

Losing any series meant immediate elimination from the tournament, and they needed to at least win their next three series to guarantee a spot in the finals.

Revenant Esports stepped it up with every series played

Ready to face the challenge head on, Revenant Esports treated every opponent and series with the same level of respect and discipline. They often out-drafted their opponents and prioritized their levels and objectives.

They approached small and large-scale battles with the utmost care, and were often rewarded for it.

Public opinion immediately changed as soon as they knocked out both Gods Reign and True Rippers from the competition on day one of elimination matches. Day two was the real test, yet they continued to exceed expectations by knocking out S8UL with a flawless 2–0, earning them a spot in the offline finals.

Their final series against Marcos Gaming was the ultimate challenge. How much they had grown since the beginning of the Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2023 Indian division?

They peaked in that very series.

Both Revenant and Marcos Gaming drew a game each in the Indian division grand final.

In game three, both teams kept up in levels and points scored. Revenant Esports were able to break through thanks to XesoL who secured the final hit on Rayquaza with Mamoswine. They ended the match with 396 points over Marcos Gaming’s 209 points, securing the USD$5000 cash prize on top of the invite to the offline finals.

Both Revenant Esports and Marcos Gaming will represent India at the Pokémon UNITE Asia Champions League 2023 offline finals.

Catch the finals live on March 18 and 19 on ONE Esports’ YouTubeFacebook, or Twitch streams.
