See, mom and dad? Pokemon is actually real!
Fans of Pokemon Sword and Shield stumbled upon an amazing easter egg in the game’s Nintendo Switch case. Reddit user, RancidBean, first posted about the secret message and showed how it actually works.
The easter egg requires the Google Lens app to activate. Simply open the app and point your camera at the game case and watch the box art come to life.

The Pokemon Sword and Shield game case has a stunning easter egg
The secret video showcases the starters of generation VIII, namely Scorbunny, Sobble, and Grookey. The montage also features Gigantimax versions of different Pokemon and the legendary cover mascots, Zacian and Zamazenta.
You can also see the protagonist along with some of the gym leaders that you’ll challenge in the two paired titles.
For those who bought a digital copy, some users have said that it still works with the game tile in the Switch main menu so try it out whenever you’re about to start training your Pokemon again.
