Without a doubt, Genshin Impact has the most passionate fans around the globe. Whenever HoYoverse announces a new character, players instantly create hundreds of artwork and cosplays to show their love for the game’s 4-stars and 5-stars.
A Layla cosplayer, Thai Genshin fan Nateephan “PatJi” Thammasilbanyad, won the unofficial speedrun contest in the community when she put together a full costume, just less than 24 hours after the Genshin character’s first official announcement on HoYoverse’s social media accounts.

PatJi impressed the fandom with her lightning-fast skills as a cosplayer, creating Layla’s costume from scratch.
She made everything herself — the character’s white tube top, gold accessories, cloak, and the indigo-cerulean gradient wig. The cosplayer also posted a short video of herself depicting Layla’s mannerisms by holding her cloak and clasping her hands.
PatJi has also cosplayed other Genshin characters such as Jean, Yelan, Keqing, Kamisato Ayato, and Gorou.

Layla, the Cryo-sword user, is a Rtawahist student specializing in theoretical astrology. Rtawahist is one of the six main schools of the Sumeru Akademiya, focused on the study of stars.
Dubbed “Half-Awake, Half-Asleep, All Incredulous,” Layla is constantly sleep-deprived due to her thesis project and other school assignments.
