Cloud9 is shaking up their roster before the start of the 2022 Summer Split. They will move mid laner Ibrahim “Fudge” Allami back to the top lane, according to a report by Upcomer.
Prior to LCS Spring 2022, the 19-year-old was a top laner, and role swapped to mid lane to make way for Park “Summit” Woo-tae.
The North American organization is also considering new players in mid lane and support for its LCS roster.
Both Summit and support Kim “Winsome” Dong-keon are expected to leave Cloud9. The report did not state their next destinations.

Cloud9 moving Fudge back to top lane, may import a mid laner for LCS Summer 2022
With Fudge moving back to his main role, there is now an open slot in mid lane, and Cloud9 may bring in an import for the role.
One option Cloud9 considered was their former player, Yasin “Nisqy” Dinçer, but the Belgian chose to sign with MAD Lions instead.
Other mid lane options, according to the Upcomer report, include academy mid laner Jouhan “Copy” Pathmanathan and Adam “Random” Grepl, who is playing with BISONS ECLUB in the Spanish LVP.
The report also mentions that academy bot laner Jesper “Zven” Svenningsen might role swap to support. A Redditor found that the Dane has been playing support in EU West solo queue recently during his mid-season break.
After a relatively strong start to the LCS Spring 2022 season, head coach Nick “LS” De Cesare was abruptly released before a game in Week 3.
Cloud9 finished fourth in the playoffs, losing 0-3 to Evil Geniuses in the lower bracket.
