North American organization TSM is making even more changes to its LCS roster for the coming weekend.
Support Wei “Shenyi” Zi-Jie will return to the starting roster, while Wang “Yursan” Sheng-Yu, who was promoted to the LCS team after Shenyi’s benching, will be returning to the academy squad, the organization announced today.
Additionally, there’ll also be a mid lane shuffle as the team promotes academy mid laner Ji “Takeover” Cha Hyeun-min, while Zhu “Keaiduo” Xiong takes his place on the academy roster.

TSM Shenyi rejoins LCS starting roster, Keaiduo moves to academy
The org’s head coach Wong “Chawy” Xing Lei told Upcomer that the team believes Shenyi is “ready to come back to the main roster” after his stint in academy. As for Keaiduo, the team feels that he “needs more time to train in a less stressful environment”.
“It’s critical that Keaiduo be given time to work on several key development areas as we try to end the season on a high note,” Assistant General Manager Yang “Glen” Po-Jen said.
TSM roster for Week 6 of LCS Spring 2022
- Heo “Huni” Seung-hoon (top laner)
- Mingyi “Spica” Lu (jungler)
- Ji “Takeover” Cha Hyeun-min (mid laner)
- Edward “Tactical” Ra (bot laner)
- Wei “Shenyi” Zi-Jie (support)
Chawy also elaborated on the reason for Shenyi’s benching. After Shenyi locked in a champion on stage without input from the coaches or team in Week 2, the staff followed up with him to discuss the issue, but his attitude was deemed “negative and disrespectful”, according to the head coach.
The focus now, Chawy said, is on developing in time for the next split. “Our plan is to make sure to get everything ready and prepared to find the best team possible for us, the best playstyle — everything by Summer split — and then our hope is still to get to playoffs and hopefully Worlds,” he explained.
The LCS team is currently 1-8 in the LCS Spring 2022 season with three weeks to go before the playoffs. They will play against Flyquest on March 6, 6.30 a.m. GMT+8 | March 5, 2.30 p.m. PT | March 5, 10.30 p.m. GMT. Catch them live on the LCS Twitch and YouTube stream.
