Brody is a marksman we all love and hate. His passive grants him insane attack damage. However, this comes at the cost, for he ends up having the slowest attack speed among all marksmen in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang.
His attack damage is so high that having only one offensive item and five defensive items are viable in most situations. He is a great ally, and a nightmare to be against.
But like all marksman heroes, Brody can be countered by burst skills and heroes who have multiple crowd control skills. He is especially vulnerable in the laning phase when he doesn’t have either his Blade of Despair or Hunter’s Strike yet.
Here are some of the heroes that you can pick when facing off against the Lone Star in ranked.
3 heroes that counter Brody in Mobile Legends: Bang Bang
Hayabusa
Hayabusa is not an easy hero to learn and master, but his kit is perfect against any marksman heroes, including the Lone Star.
He can use Ougi: Shadow Kill to deal damage against Brody without giving him the chance to stack his passive and fight. This works best when he’s alone.
In a 1v1, close the gap with Ninjutsu: Quad Shadow, then use your ultimate to deal the killing blow. Return to one of your shadows for safety if he manages to survive. It’s also important that you do not take long trades against Brody.
Ling
Ling is another assassin who can give the Lone Star a difficult time. Thanks to his various mobility skills, Ling can easily close the gap and burst him down with ease.
Finch Poise is great for escaping the battlefield once Brody has full stacks on you. After he casts Torn-Apart Memory and it goes on cooldown, Ling can quickly get back in the fight with Defiant Sword to finish him off.
Tempest of Blades can also make it difficult for him to apply stacks on Ling if you can trigger Sword Field. Always remember to constantly be on the move to avoid Abyss Impact.
Claude
Much like Hayabusa, Claude is a marksman hero who can melt almost all enemies once he gets his core items. His mobility alone can be a difficult matchup for Brody.
What makes Claude one of the most agile heroes is his Battle Image Mirror and Blazing Duet combo. Once Claude enters the fray with this ultimate, Brody might try to counterattack by stunning you with Corrosive Strike and get his stacks up.
Fortunately, you can teleport back to your mirror image, away from the Torn-Apart Memory’s range. With the right timing, positioning, and core items, Claude can almost always burst him down once Blazing Duet is activated.
