TODAK won the grand final of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional League Malaysia Season 11 (MPL MY Season 11) after a dominant 4-0 sweep over Team SMG.
This marks the third championship win for the team, setting a new record for any Malaysian team in the league.
During the regular season, TODAK secured a second-place finish, earning them a spot in the upper bracket semifinal. They defeated Team Lunatix and HomeBois to become the first team to reach the grand final.
On the other hand, Team SMG had a tougher journey to the grand final. They had to fight their way through the lower bracket after losing to HomeBois in the upper bracket semifinal.
Despite this setback, they eliminated both Team Lunatix and HomeBois, securing their spot in the grand final against TODAK.

Powerhouse TODAK makes history as the first team in MPL MY to win three championships
TODAK’s Muhammad “CikuGais” Fuad put in a masterful performance in the first two games, playing Karrie and earning the MVP award for his efforts. He scored an impressive 10/2/3 in the first game and a near-perfect 7/1/4 KDA in the second.
In the third game, Team SMG opted not to ban Karrie but chose burst heroes such as Lunox, Martis, and Claude to counter the hero. TODAK responded by picking Akai and Khufra to protect Karrie, who was once again played by CikuGais.
The game was closely contested, with both teams getting kills, but things went awry for Team SMG after they lost the Lord dance and four of their members at the 14-minute mark.
With only one member left standing, TODAK pushed all the lanes and secured the hard-fought match point. In game four, TODAK once again chose Karrie and picked two tanks, Atlas and Akai, to help protect their marksman.
The game was back-and-forth until TODAK caught Team SMG jungler Wan “Subway” Sakirin’s Lancelot in the top lane, and eventually the Evolved Lord on the other side of the map.
CikuGais closed out the series with a double kill in Team SMG’s base as the Lord was marching in, securing a dominant victory for TODAK.
With the win, the three-time champions will take home the lion’s share of the US$100,000 prize pool.
They will also represent Malaysia in the upcoming Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2023 (MSC 2023) next month.
