After a 4-2 victory against ECHO in the MPL PH Season 10 grand final, Blacklist International’s Edward “EDWARD” Dapadap was named the finals MVP for his outstanding performance in the EXP lane.
The 18-year-old was a major pain for ECHO in the best-of-seven series. Using his signature heroes such as Uranus and Benedetta, he was responsible for exerting pressure in the sidelane and racking up a few kills to give Blacklist International their third title in the league.
However, EDWARD remained humble and even said in a post-game interview that one of his teammates deserved the MVP title more than him.

EDWARD reveals Blacklist jungler Wise deserved the MVP title
When asked how he’s feeling after winning the MVP award, he said it was unexpected considering that he had jungler Danerie James “Wise” Del Rosario in mind to win it.
“For me, Wise is really the MVP because he was the one who suggested the Benedetta pick, I just executed it,” he stated.
Down 1-2 in the fourth game, EDWARD’s Benedetta paved the way for Blacklist to tie the series 2-2. He recorded an almost perfect 5/1/8 KDA and was proclaimed the player of the game for his efforts.
The jungler was also responsible for Blacklist International’s come-from-behind victory in the grand final. He was able to show off his wide range of hero pool after locking in Valentina in games one and five, and Guinevere in the sixth and final game.
With the MVP victory, the EXP laner is the first player in MPL PH to win two final MVP awards. The first one was in Season 7 when Blacklist International won its first title in the league.
Watch EDWARD and the rest of the Blacklist squad as they represent the Philippines at the M4 World Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia on January 1 to 15. Follow ONE Esports on Facebook for more MPL and M4 updates.
