EVOS Esports are Indonesia’s Mobile Legends: Bang Bang MPL Season 4 champions, having defeated Rex Regum Qeon 3-1 in the grand finals.
The match between these two Indonesian powerhouses and fierce rivals were very much an “El Clasico” — a reference to the matchups between football clubs, Real Madrid and Barcelona.
Going into the grand finals, RRQ were looking to redeem themselves as EVOS had won all three previous El Clasico matchups, including a 2-0 win in the Winners Finals.
RRQ got off to a great start in game one, with Muhammad “Lemon” Ikhsan’s Lunox leading his team to a quick victory. RRQ dominated the entire game, finishing with a landslide 14-6 kill score.

In game two, RRQ dominated early, but EVOS managed to catch up. With both teams tied at 24-24 it was anyone’s game to win, but in the end EVOS managed to pull out the victory, tieing up the score at 1-1.
In game three, EVOS unleashed their secret weapon, putting Gustian “Rekt” Hidayat on Zhask. Rekt made great use of Zhask’s Nightmaric Spawn and helped his team take an early lead, which they never gave up, finishing the game in a quick 11 minutes with a 16-7 score.
At tournament point, with all the momentum on their side, EVOS kept the pressure on RRQ. Muhammad “Wannn” Ridwan’s Chang’e was the star of game four, and ended the game with a Savage five-kill, letting EVOS claim victory with a one-sided 14-6 scoreline.
EVOS Esports has now qualified for the ML:BB M1 World Championship, which is happening on November 15-17 in Kuala Lumpur.
This is the second MPL championship for EVOS Esports in two weeks, as its Singapore ML:BB team recently won MPL MY/SG Season 4.
The two EVOS squads will meet at the M1 World Championship.
