Slate Esports has teamed up with fellow Singaporean organization RSG for the upcoming MPL PH and MY Season 11, the organization announced on Facebook.
Slate Esports, the esports arm of Avium Esports, is cofounded by EVOS Esports co-founder Ivan Yeo. With the partnership, both RSG teams in the Philippines and Malaysia will be called RSG Slate PH and MY, respectively.
This also comes a week after Slate Esports announced that it is collaborating with Geek Fam for its MLBB and Dota 2 squad. Both divisions then rebranded to Geek Slate to reflect the partnership.

RSG Slate will be the latest team to compete in MPL PH and MY
Both RSG Slate PH and MY released a statement on their respective Facebook page, promising fans that the brand-new partnership will help them in their journey to the regional championship.
“We will continue to show off our ferocity and strength to compete in the field of esports,” The PH team wrote. “We will continue the fight as the Kingslayers.”
The partnership aims to invigorate its championship chances for next season after unfavorable results last season. RSG PH finished third in Season 10 after they were eliminated by ECHO in the lower bracket final.
RSG MY also had it rough last season after finishing fourth, where they were swept by eventual champion Team HAQ in the lower bracket semifinal.
Both teams have yet to announce their roster for next season.
