Updated on April 23, 8:30 p.m. (GMT+8): Updated scores.

In just a few days, history will be made as the first-ever champion of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Development League (MDL PH) will be crowned.

The MDL PH Season 1 playoffs are set to take place from April 21 to 23, with the winner receiving the lion’s share of the US$20,000 prize pool and the coveted title of MDL PH champion.

Gamelab has established a strong presence in Group A with a remarkable 10-3 series score, surpassing both Blacklist Academy and RSG Ignite.

Meanwhile, in Group B, ECHO Proud, the sister team of M4 world champions ECHO, has dominated with an equally impressive 10-3 record.

They have outperformed Bren x Euphoria Esports and Smart Omega Neos, both of whom have an identical record of 7-6.

MDL PH Season 1 playoffs format

The playoffs follow a single elimination format, where the 3rd to 6th seeded teams will compete in the first round, while the 1st and 2nd seeded teams will receive a round bye and start in the second round.

Each match in the playoffs is a best-of-three, except for the grand final, which will be a best-of-five.
