Mobile Legends: Bang Bang esports fans in Turkey will have something to look forward to in the coming weeks.
Moonton has revealed the Türkiye Championship (MTC), the first-ever professional league for MLBB in the country.
The tournament is scheduled to take place from March to May, and will serve as a qualifier for the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Southeast Asia Cup 2023 (MSC 2023) in June.

Türkiye Championship will follow the same structure as other Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Professional Leagues and will feature up to eight teams competing for a prize pool of TL₺ 500,000, or around US$26,500.
Head of MLBB Esports Turkiye and CIS, Ajay Jilka, hopes that the tournament will strengthen the Turkish esports community.
“Türkiye Championship aka MTC is an evolution of our previous qualifiers for our M Series World Championships,” he said. “The strength of Incendio Supremacy in Jakarta this year has showcased the prowess of Turkish teams on the global stage, which we hope to see grow to new heights this year,”
The MLBB scene in Turkey had garnered attention following the M4 World Championship.
Turkish representative Incendio Supremacy made a name for themselves by surpassing expectations and defeating established teams like Myanmar’s Falcon Esports in the group stage, and MPL MY Season 10 champions Team HAQ in the lower bracket of the knockout stage.
They finished 7th-8th place in the standings.
