The biggest Mobile Legends: Bang Bang tournament will be held in the region of the world champions.

The Philippines will host the most prestigious M5 World Championship in December 2023 this year. It will be the first time the country plays host.

The venue was announced before the start of the M4 World Championship grand final between defending champion Blacklist International and ECHO.

The MLBB esports roadmap for 2023 was shown, which includes the MLBB Women’s Invitational in February, MLBB Southeast Asia Cup in June, the first-ever Snapdragon Pro Series: Mobile Legends: Bang Bang challenge by ESL in July, and MPLI 2023 in November.

Previously, the M1 World Championship was held at Axiata Arena in Malaysia. Indonesia’s EVOS Legends won the inaugural championship.

The M2 World Championship was held in Singapore without a live audience due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Bren Esports won the world championship after a thrilling seven-game grand final victory against Burmese Ghouls.

The M3 World Championship was held in Singapore again, with a limited live audience. It was a grand final showdown between two Filipino teams, with Blacklist International coming out on top after a clean 4-0 sweep over ONIC PH.

The M4 World Championship was held in Indonesia. The Philippines remained on top of the MLBB competitive scene after booking an all-Filipino grand final for the second time in a row between defending champion Blacklist International and ECHO.
