Onitsuka Tiger has confirmed that Singapore will be one of the launch countries for its limited-edition Mexico 66 sneaker created in collaboration with Capcom’s Street Fighter V.
Only 5,000 pairs will be available worldwide, with just 120 available in Singapore. The shoe will launch on Saturday, July 27 at Onitsuka Tiger Ngee Ann City and nearly all Onitsuka Tiger stores islandwide.
The sneaker will be available in two colorways, both inspired by Chun-Li’s main colors: White x Glacier Gray and Acid Yellow x Soft Yellow. Both shoes also feature a graphic print of Chun-Li’s Chinese dragon belt, with the Onitsuka Tiger and Street Fighter logos on the heel flaps.
The sneakers also come with a product code card that gives users in-game SFV Chun-Li skins featuring the shoes and other Onitsuka apparel.
