This is part of “Battle for Tokyo“, a series on the teams competing at the ONE Street Fighter Tokyo Challenge.
On October 6, 10 of the world’s best Street Fighter pros will descend on Tokyo to participate in the first-ever ONE Street Fighter Tokyo Challenge.
There’s more than just personal pride and prize money at stake, as each pro will be representing their country alongside two countrymen.
Team Taiwan is made up of a trio of rising stars, headlined by Leevy “Oil King” Lin, who had taken the top spot at Thaiger Uppercut earlier this year.
Leevy “Oil King” Lin
Oil King is one of the best Street Fighter V players from Taiwan. He is a well-accomplished player who started competing back in 2016 and has won multiple events since then. Oil King’s first tournament win was back in 2017 when he won FV Cup. He has since continued to improve and finished first during Final Fighters China 2018 by defeating Yusuke “Momochi” Momochi.
In the current Capcom Pro Tour season, Oil King has placed in top 8 of different events this year. He was also crowned Thaiger Uppercut SEA Thailand Major champion when he defeated Keita “Fuudo” Ai.
Oil King is a Rashid player who has an incredible pressure game that has earned him wins over Derrick “Idom” Ruffin, Raul “Menard” Mena Segundo, and Takeuchi “John Takeuchi” Ryota.

Bruce “GamerBee” Hsiang
GamerBee is a prominent figure in the Street Fighter community. He started his career back in 2010 with Street Fighter IV and became one of the best players to pick up the game. He then found early success once Capcom released Street Fighter V. GamerBee won EGX 2016 and Japan Cup 2016 by defeating Lee “Poongko” Chung Gon, which earned him his biggest win to date.
After being a tournament organizer for TW Fighter Major, Gamerbee decided to pass on his event responsibilities and refocused himself to compete and participate in more tournaments for this CPT season.
GamerBee used Cammy at the start of the CPT season but has switched back to Necalli recently. He has wins over Renzo “Iperu” Vigo and Sean “Shine Simpson.
Arubi “RB” Kao
RB is another well-known name in the Street Fighter community. Just like GamerBee, RB has been competing since 2010. He often only attends a handful of events throughout each year but always manages to perform well.
RB is a Urien player who mirrors the style of Naoki “Nemo” Nemoto but doesn’t take as many risks. He has beaten Zeng “Xiao Hai” Zhuojun, Kensuke “Trashbox” Ishikawa, and Yeh “Hotdog29” Man Ho during this year’s CPT season.
