Not all sites in Valorant are created equal. Some can feel infuriatingly difficult to take space in and retake, while others are almost comically easy, with attackers scrambling to find a foothold in the post-plant.
And when parsing the numbers in pro play, a very clear trend emerges — one site stands a head and shoulders above the rest in retake success, while another languishes at the bottom as the most difficult to reclaim.
According to Bleed eSports analyst Sushant “Ominous” Jha, who looked at matches from Masters Copenhagen and Valorant Champions 2022, B site on Bind is the hardest to retake with a 28 percent success rate, while Haven B site is the easiest at 47 percent.

B site on Bind remains the most difficult to retake
Haven’s B site is the easiest to retake by a mile. The next closest is Breeze’s A site, which currently sits at just over a 35 percent success rate.
On the other end of the spectrum is B site on Bind, followed by Ascent’s B site.
Maps like Pearl and Fracture hover somewhere in the middle of the pack, with both sites notching between a 30 and 35 percent success rate.
It’s not difficult to see why Bind’s B site is such a gnarly affair. In most scenarios, defenders have to funnel through the narrow doorway at B Hall or B Elbow, allowing attackers to set up several crossfire angles. At the same time, there are myriad angles to check and clear, with attackers able to find safety at Hookah or B Garden.
On the other hand, Haven’s B site is more of a connector than an actual site. It is easy for attackers holding the post-plant to get pinched from both A Link and C Link, while having to contend with the very real danger of defenders also pushing from Garage or Window.
Does a site being harder to retake mean that it is even more important to anchor it? Maybe.
Either way, the numbers shed some light on how Valorant’s map design influences outcomes in the game. And if you always struggle when retaking Bind’s B site, maybe you shouldn’t beat yourself up too much about it.
