Liquid scored a perfect game over Turkish team Oxygen, winning 13-0 in the first game of the semifinals of the EMEA Challengers playoffs.

Liquid then won the series, becoming the first team in the world to qualify for Stage 2 Masters in Reykjavik, Iceland. The team has struggled in the Valorant scene since First Strike, but the team’s hard work has finally paid off with tickets to the first international Valorant LAN event in Iceland, bearing Europe’s banner.

The game was only 24 minutes and 4 seconds long, with Liquid dominating every round.

Liquid ran a no duelist composition, with star fragger Adil “ScreaM” Benrlitom on Sage instead of his usual Phoenix or Reyna. It seemed like ScreaM himself was the duelist, with his 6.8 KDA ratio and MVP of the match.

James “Kryptix” Affleck had the highest KDA of the match, with a stunning 9.7 score.

Liquid then closed out the series with a 13-3 score on the final map, Ascent, a map that Liquid have been dominant on.

According to Elias “Jamppi” Olkkonen in the post-game interview, being in Liquid’s bootcamp has helped the team’s synergy immensely. As for which region they’re looking forward to facing the most? Jamppi says they have no preference.

“We want to play every region,” he said. “We still have three weeks. We’re going to practice super hard to be ready for everything.”

Liquid were the first team to qualify for Masters: Reykjavik, followed shortly by FNATIC. Masters: Reykjavik is scheduled for May 24 to 30th.
