Riot developers have revealed that League of Legends PC players and Wild Rift mobile and console players will be able to experience synced crossover events sometime in the future, however, the actual content might be different between the two games.

“It’s important to note that even if we do sync events with League PC, our content might be different so that we can offer unique and exciting ways for you to enjoy the event with a Wild Rift twist,” said Events Lead Jennie “Riot Jennisaur” Liu in an AMA hosted on Riot’s website.

The developers have also confirmed that players will be getting Wild Rift-exclusive skins and champions in later updates.

For now, the team is focusing on rebuilding models, textures, and animations to make them look better and more fit for mobile and console, according to Wild Rift Communications Lead Ben “Riot Draggles” Forbes.

The game will gradually implement other features like voice chat, localized voiceovers, and a reporting system.
