After going on a short hiatus, the League of Legends: Wild Rift regional closed beta has returned. And it’s now also available in South Korea and Japan.

Riot Games has chosen these two regions as they are geographically near the existing CBT regions Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and Indonesia.

“We’re going region by region for our Closed Beta to make sure we’re prioritizing stability before moving to the next” said Riot Games in their latest announcement.

Will we finally see G.O.A.T. LoL player Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok play Wild Rift?

Returning players should expect their Wild Rift accounts to be reset in terms of content and progress. All Wild Cores spent on skins and other cosmetics will be restored, with a generous 20% of the amount given to the player back for free.

In the future, players will be seeing more improvements on progression, leveling, and balance.

Wild Rift beta resumes today, October 8, with more invitations for pre-registered players on Android. The CBT will run for a few more weeks but players should keep an eye out for an announcement from Riot on when it will end. The testing would most likely be followed by the Wild Rift open beta where most regions and more players can have access to the game.
